The Road of Health is a 1938 short made by Gaumont-British Instructional for the Social Hygiene Council. Beginning with a live action opening in which an unnamed presenter delivers a short lecture, the film then switches to animation and gives us a lengthy parable about sexual health. The animation was made by R Jeffryes, while Brian Salt directed the short as a whole.
The short is included on the BFI DVD The Birds and the Bees (previously released under the name The Joy of Sex Education).
