Tally-Ho! Bonzo

Another Bonzo cartoon from 1925. This time, Bonzo steals someone's sweets, has a can tied to his tail as punishment and ends up being chased by a fox, only to later help it escape from a hunt. One of the hounds (a Sherlock Holmes parody) turns out to be harder to shake than the rest, and Bonzo resorts to wearing the fox around his neck to disguise himself as a flapper. The antagonist promptly falls in love with him - was this already a stock cartoon gag?

As with the other Bonzo cartoons I've looked at so far, the short is available on DVD from Cartoons on Film.
