In 1973, Ray Harryhausen worked on a follow-up to his earlier film The 7th Voyage of Sinbad. This time, the creatures he cmae up with were two gargoyle-like "homunculi", a living figurehead, a swordfighting Kali statue, a one-eyed centaur and a giant griffen.
