Ian Andrew's 1987 Royal College of Art sgraduation film Dolphins got quite a bit of attention in its time, being featured in the Best of British Animation programme at the 1987 London Film Festival and touring America in the 1991 British Animation Invasion show, also appearing on the latter's tie-in VHS.The film has since dropped from view, but maybe it's time it was rediscovered - Andrew's painstaking efforts to capture not only the titular animals but also the interaction between light and water definitely stand up.
I use to had a copy of that video release myself!
