Adverts: Greenscape, Boost and Solar

Stills from a few adverts I found on an old tape. I believe they're all from the eighties.

And finally, McVitie's solar bars.Twenty years on a VHS tape hasn't done the picture quality any favours, but you can still see that this was a fairly stylish ad - and do I detect the influence of Oscar Grillo's Seaside Woman?

Public information films: lifting, snow and cycling

Another batch of stills from classic public information films. First, Lifting Safely from 1972.

Next, Snow Seen from 1980, about keeping car windscreens clear during snowy weather.

And finally, Children Overtake from 1981. Despite its title, it completely lacks children, and instead stars a character named Augustus Windsock.
