A while back I posted stills from the animated opening sequences to the BBC's I Love the (Insert Decade Here) series from 2000-2001. What I didn't mention is that, in a few episodes, the host-of-the-week was also animated: part of I Love the 90s featured Beavis and Butthead; I Love the 80s guest starred dodgy mo-cap renditions of the Ninja Turtles; and an episode of I Love the 70s brought Roobarb and Custard out of retirement. In this newly-animated material the duo covered cultural highlights of 1974, including Blazing Saddles, The Bionic Man (and woman) and Showaddywaddy.

Use to watch a tape of the original series years ago.
